    Community Service for Developmentally Disabled
    The mission of CSDD is to promote and support ongoing choices and opportunities for children and adults and their families to be full and equal citizens in the community.

Transitions Employment Solutions provides services and supports to individuals interested in community based employment. The staff is housed at the CMHA-CEI Jolly Road office and work as a team with community resources such as Peckham Vocational Industries and Michigan Rehabilitation Services. The mission of the Transitions programs is “Transitions—Where Dreams Become Reality”. This is in concert with the CSDD Mission Statement, which is “To promote and support ongoing choices and opportunities for people and their families to be full and equal citizens in the community. “

Transitions programs are operated and supported through Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled. Transitions programs provide assistance to adults with developmental disabilities in expanding life options through inclusion into community life. Through the Person Centered Planning process, goals and objectives are developed to address increasing independence and skills in identified areas.

Transitions Employment Solutions serves individuals from Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties.

 

Cost for Services

CMHA-CEI provides specialty behavioral health and substance use services for people who meet criteria for our service array. We accept Medicaid, Healthy Michigan Plan and other publically funded health insurance. Fees are assessed based on the client's ability to pay. A coverage determination will identify a person's ability to pay along with any public funding that might be available.
